How to Upgrade WFCO 8955PEC-GE Power Converter to Work with Lithium Batteries

Question:
I would like to upgrade a WFCO 8955PEC-GE power converter to be compatible with charging a lithium battery. In a response to a differnt persons same question, you suggested this Progressive Dynamics charging section. Yet, in the specs, it states 13.6 volt output. All of the lithium batteries I am familiar with define a 14.4 to 14.6 volatge to get a full charge. Is this PD unit not compatible?

The Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section for AC/DC Power Distribution Panel # PD4655V you're looking at is rated for 14.6V when it's in lithium mode.
This will be delivered to you in the lithium mode, so you won't need to switch anything over.

Hey Mike, did the Progressive Dynamics unit work out for your lithium battery setup? I'm curious to know because it could help others looking to upgrade their power converters.
