Parts Needed to Add Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller to 2026 Honda Passport TrailSport Elite

Hello, I have a 2026 Honda passport trail sport elite and I would like to know what I would need getting a Redarc brake controller and harness that I would need for my vehicle. Thanks for your help Charlie.

Hi Charlie, thanks for reaching out! Does your 2026 Honda Passport TrailSport Elite have factory trailer wiring with a tow package? Or do you need to add wiring? Is there a port under the dash to plug in a brake controller wiring harness? The vehicle is too new for us to be able to confirm if a custom wiring harness will fit at this point.
You can use the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR and splice into the wiring if you have it. This is the safest option and the only way I can confirm it will fit. The Curt # C51392 fit the 2025 models with the tow package but I can't guarantee it will work with he 2026 at this point.
If we get a 2026 in we can test it ourselves, otherwise we have to wait on the manufacturer. If it looks like the same plug it will likely work along with the # RED24FR and Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter for Curt Brake Controller Harness # 331-TPH-019 but again, I can't guarantee these parts will work with your vehicle at this time.
