How Do I Know Which Key To Buy As A Replacement For Inno Bike Rack?

Question:

How do I know which key to buy as a replacement for my inno bike rack? Is there a number on the serial plate? We bought from a friend but didn’t come with paperwork or key.

Hello Stephanie, thanks for reaching out. The only way to know which key you need would be with the key number. Generally the key number will be printed on the key itself, or printed on the face of the lock core. If you don't have keys, and there is no number on the core it makes things tough. That is one of the perils of buying a used rack though.

For example, the Replacement Key for Inno Roof Racks, Bike Racks, and Cargo Boxes # IN43RR replaces the T254 key number.

Did it come with any keys? Is there a number you can see?

@StephanieN Dang! I have heard of people drilling out the lock cores and replacing them with new ones, but that is something you would have to get direct from Inno since we do not offer replacement lock cores for their racks. It might be worth reaching out to them directly to see what solution they can provide.
