Hello Randy,
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13354 is the correct one for you 2008 Acura MDX. As for the spare tire, the # 13354 will only work with a mini spare it will not fit with a full spare tire. If you do have a full size spare, I suggest reaching out to your local Acura dealership about getting a mini spare.
If you needed some wiring for some light towing, or a hitch mounted accessory you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56038.
Don't have a ball mount? Check out our etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball - 2" Hitch - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # e67DR. I really like the black nickel plating on our hitch balls, it gives a nice sleek look.
What are you going to be using the hitch for?
