Hello Randy,

Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13354 is the correct one for you 2008 Acura MDX. As for the spare tire, the # 13354 will only work with a mini spare it will not fit with a full spare tire. If you do have a full size spare, I suggest reaching out to your local Acura dealership about getting a mini spare.

If you needed some wiring for some light towing, or a hitch mounted accessory you will want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56038.

Don't have a ball mount? Check out our etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball - 2" Hitch - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # e67DR. I really like the black nickel plating on our hitch balls, it gives a nice sleek look.

What are you going to be using the hitch for?

Hey Randy, Did you decide to go with the mini spare option for your Acura MDX, or did you find another solution? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others facing a similar situation.
