Hello Darren,

For your 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan with VMI conversion our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98854 might work with some modification since you have the conversion. I suggest that you reach out to a VMI specialist about the install to make sure that it can be done.

If you need some wiring to pair it with for some light towing or a hitch mounted accessory you will want the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118534, and don't forget to grab a # 18144 for a clean looking install.

If you are looking for a ball mount as well, check out our etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball - 2" Hitch - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # e67DR.

What were you looking to use the hitch for?

@Darren Curt actually makes our hitches for us. For the Curt you will want the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 13364. The only difference is the finish, the Curt comes in the glossy black.

Do you have pictures of it installed on the VMI conversion. I’m just not confident it will fit. Van has a north star conversion.

@Darren After reviewing the Northstar conversion, I'm not completely certain that the hitch will fit without modifications. It appears that installation might be possible, but likely with some adjustments due to the changes made during the conversion. Your best option is to contact the company that performed the conversion—they'll be able to compare the hitch installation instructions with the modifications made to your vehicle. In fact, it may require a VMI-certified technician or conversion specialist to complete the installation properly. If you would like to give me the name of the company that you used, I am happy to reach out to them for you. I am quite curios myself.
