Question:

Hello- I talked to dexter and she told me my leaf springs I want to replace 072-099-01 is actually a 3500 pound leaf spring. even though my axle is rated for 6000 pound. what do you have, if anything as a match for 3500? I would want bronze bushings even if sold separately and u bolts , and tie plate 012-055-01. my 5th wheel is over slung thank you

Hey Dan, the best option for a leaf spring replacement would be the part # e94SR. This is the correct length leaf spring as well as correct weight rating since you have a 6k axle. We don't have a 7k rated spring that is correct length. For a bronze bushing you'd then want the part # D014-077-00 and then for a u-bolt kit the part # APUBR-8 comes with u-bolts, nuts, and the u-bolt plate.

Hey Dan, did the leaf spring replacement and other parts work out for your 5th wheel? I'm asking because your experience could help others in a similar situation.

@JamesonC yes they did. After I had the leaf spring break and repaired with 4 new leaf springs plus I had the Morryde X factor brace and Alltrack 4000 the installer purchased from you guys I thought I should get a trailer alignment from a special shop that does that work and I had them look at it all and beside the axle they straightened out they said the same as you guys it all looks great, they verified all torques and don’t see any issues. Gives me a ton of confidence. Thank you you guys are my go to shop and any RV needs Dan
