Question:
I have a 2015 Sandpiper 5th wheel with 13-10 Dexter Equalizer with 35 inch axle spacing. Can I use the K71-653-00 kit instead of the K71-652-00 kit. Im hoping to gain some height as well.

Expert Reply:
Your 13-10 equalizers, which should be equivalent to Equalizer # TREQ310 measures 6-1/16 inches from bolt hole to bolt hole (see accompanying photo) and due to that you will need to use the E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # K71-652-00.
Your equalizers are not long enough to use the other kit you referenced; the replacements you select do need to measure up from bolt hole to bolt hole. I have added a link to a video review and video install for you to check out as well.

Hello Kyle- I have the same issues above. I have the issue above. I want to purchase the Dexter EZ Flex but I am concerned about pulling the trigger for 2 reasons everyone I talk to gives me a different answer. On you please confirm It’s for a 5th wheel. And I don’t want to have torn apart in my driveway and find out it’s the wrong one 1- my wheel spacing is 35” but my existing Equalizer is a Dexter 13-10. And on the Dexter sight it says to go by the wheel spacing. Please confirm 2- I cannot afford to have the EZ Flex installation lower my 5th wheel due to I only have 6” now between the top bed of my truck and under side trailer and that is the bare minimum. I have no issue raising just not lowering. Please confirm 3- FYI - while I do this work I am going to change out my Leaf Springs they currently are Dexter 072-055-01 5 leaf 3500 each let me know what you have to match. Thank you in advance Dan
