Question:

I need to raise my 5th wheel to make it level with my tow vehicle. I have already upgraded to 16” wheels with 80 series tires. Looking at the shackle extenders with wet pins. I need 2-4” of lift.

Expert Reply:

The trailer lift kit options really come down to the axle type and setup. For leaf spring axles, you can either flip the axles with a kit like part # K71-384-00 or part # K71-385-00 or you can raise the hangers/shackles with a kit like part # LC425750. If you go with the hanger/shackle lift kit you'll need one per axle. This kit will provide about a 2" lift.
