Why Are the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs So Uncomfortable on a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500?

Question:
I just bought an air lifter 5000 setup for my 2023 GMC 2500hd AT4 and installed them. It absolutely ruined the ride of my truck when I’m not hooked up to a trailer. I have the air pressure set at 5 lbs and it’s a terrible ride. Is this normal or is there anything I can do to fix it and get my comfortable ride back? Thanks

What happens when you adjust the pressure to 20ish psi? They say the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs item # AL57341 can be run as low as 5 psi but we've found this isn't accurate. We recommend running them with 15 -20 psi.

Hey, did adjusting the pressure to around 20 psi help improve the ride of your truck? I’d love to hear your experience because it could give others confidence when adjusting their air springs for a smoother ride.
