Hello Brad,
Great question! If you're planning to take your 2023 Toyota Tacoma off-road and you're using the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 kit #AL49DQ, then adding the Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradle # AL59DQ is a really smart move.
These cradles replace the lower mounting brackets of your air springs and are designed to let the bags "float" above the axle. That floating setup allows for full suspension travel and articulation, which is especially important when you're navigating uneven terrain or flexing the suspension on trails. Without the cradles, the air bags stay rigidly mounted and could be stressed or even damaged when the suspension fully extends or twists, something you definitely want to avoid.
It's a great add-on to protect your investment and make sure your off-road adventures go smoothly.
Do you have a specific place you go off roading?
