Hey Sara! You can use the SuperClamp with the Yakima BackSwing # Y02483. You might also want to consider the Saris Swing Away Hitch Extender for Bike Racks # SAR36VR. This keeps everything under the same brand while saving you a little money. It was also specifically made to work with their bike racks like the SuperClamp. Keep in mind, the use of any hitch extender like these will reduce the capacity of your hitch by 50%. If you have any other questions feel free to reply below.

Unfortunately I had purchased the Saris from their website and it does not work with the 4 bike superclamp. Only the 2 bike although they do not make that very clear on the website! Thank you so much for information on the Yakima!

@Sara that isn't clear to us either. Since they say it works with the SuperClamp I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work with the 4-bike version. What about it didn't work? That has me concerned about the Yakima as well. Realistically it is going into a 2" receiver on the extender just like it would on your standard hitch. Was the shank too long to a point where the pin hole wouldn't line up?

@RobinH The end of the superclamp would not go into the receiver end of the extender. They were just about exactly the same size. I reached out to Saris and that’s what they told me that only the 2 bike would fit. I don’t have a 2 bike superclamp to see if the hitch end is a different size.
