Question:

What is the difference between the ecohitch, curt and draw tite 2 inch hitchs for a 2022 subaru forester. I have 2 inch accessories that I want to use again.

The main difference between these three hitches is going to be the looks and install time.

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 306-X7391.
Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13409.
Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76271.

All three have a max tongue weight of 525 pounds and a max trailer weight of 3,500 pounds.

The EcoHitch is going to be the hardest install at take around two hours.

The Curt and Draw-tite will both take about an hour to install and will not be as labor intensive.

I would go with the Draw-Tite. It has the same capacities but I feel it is a sturdier model and will last.

Wrong. The Curt has a tongue weight of 350.. it literally says it under the picture. Why is the who hitch more expensive than the curt? Bc the max tongue weight is more?

@Michael if you look at our product page and the instructions from Curt you will see 525 lbs listed for the # C13409 referenced above. The # C47HR you looked at has a tongue weight of 350 lbs but that wasn't part of this answer. Are you referring to the EcoHitch when you said "who hitch?" If you are, the price difference comes from their recycled alloy construction.

Hi David, Would you also recommend the Draw-Tite hitch for a 2025 Forester? I was considering the Ecohitch as it is the closest design to the Subaru part. Thanks, Glenn

@GlennM Yep! It also fits the 2025 models and is a really great option.

@JamesonC Hi Jameson, That seems like a nice hitch, but I would prefer a 2” receiver. Can you recommend a 2” hitch? Thanks!

@Glenn The EcoHitch part # 306-X7391 is a fit for your 25 Forester and is a 2 inch hitch.
