Secure a tractor, pickup truck, or other heavy load on your trailer with this heavy-duty tie-down strap with a large ratchet handle. Snap hooks have clasps that prevent accidental detachment from most anchor points. 2,100 lbs Maximum load.
Features:
Specs:
Note: Tie-down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the etrailer 10 foot long ratcheting tie down strap with the snap hooks as a 3,333 pound working load limit. Now this heavy duty tie down strap will let you secure the cargo in your truck bed or your trailer. Right here the sturdy ratchet mechanism, if we zoom in here you can see it'll make it very easy to tighten down the strap and maintain tension on your strap. The handle, if you look, is a nice, long, wide, hard rubber handle, gives you a nice good grip even when you're wearing gloves. And they offer this release lever that also has a little hard rubber edge on it.
This release lever will let you disengage the ratchet when you're ready to unload. So basically, if you pull up on that release lever and pull it all the way and lock it in that way, that'll let you pull out your free wheels. You can pull out as much strap as you need. Once you get the strap pulled out to how much you need, just take your release lever, engage it into the ratchet, and then go ahead and do your ratcheting. The other nice thing is when you get it fully ratcheted, you can actually put this into a locked position so this doesn't ratchet on its own.
Pull up the release lever, go all the way this way, and let it lock in there, and that's a safety lock that'll engage. And then that way it'll be all tight and this won't release unless you pull that release lever. Now the snap hooks on each end, you can see right here. These are anch, these will anchor the strap to your tie down points. You can see they have the spring loaded clasp here.
That'll prevent the hook from detaching from your tie down. Keep it attached. And the strap on this, it is a two inch wide durable polyester webbing. It is abrasion resistant, and you can see it has a nice, bright yellow color so it makes it very easy to see. Now the quantity on this is for one ratchet strap.
The dimensions, again, 2 inches wide, 10 feet long. The maximum load or break strength of it is 10,000 pounds. The safe working load limit we mentioned is 3,333 pounds, which is a third of the break strength. One note I do wanna mention now, tie down straps and their accessories must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. So the weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps that are being used. So just to give you an example, if you're using straps with a working load limit of 500 pounds and you're gonna tie down a load that weighs a thousand pounds, that means you're gonna need at least two straps to safely secure that load. And it is always usually recommended to use straps in pairs. But that should do it for the review on the etrailer 10 foot long ratcheting tie down strap with the snap hooks.
They are exactly what i needed to secure my load
Fantastic I got them at a really good price and they are perfect
Always, Great products and service from reTrailer.
They are what they say. They get the job done.
I like the snap on the ends. I don't have to worry about the hook coming undone when strapping down.
great straps for my UTV strong - hold tight - like the the snap clips better than just a hook
Ease of use, but be careful not to bend the spring hook safety.
Have not used them yet but they look very well made and came very well packaged. The color will make it easier to see a loose strap-until they get dirty! :)
As expected from Etrailer
well the first 2 were the big ones are now in my sons trash container truck and get used every day that is why i bought 2 0f the 10' ones for in my pickup. I have no camera.
Looks like what I wanted, won't get to use till the weather improves. Good quality, heavy duty. And, you don't have to figure out what to do with 20 or 30 feet of extra strap.
The straps work great. We secure cars/trucks for car dealership. Large ratchet handle secures the load.
These are great straps. The hooks lay flat with the strap so the hook easily along a rail. They also store better than other straps.
Great quality product
Exactly what I expected and wasn’t able to find anywhere else.
Very nice brightly colored ratchet straps with cushioned handle.
Well made, I use the and abuse them everyday and they are holding up well.
Called to verify my order with me before processing as an added security measure since I’m out of state. Order was placed and verified the same day. It was delivered to my door step within 3 days for the standard ground shipping method!
I have i have the past had lots of these kind of tie downs, some good some not so good. These are the good one and will get used often.
Condition: Badly Dinged
Notes: Part of the hook is bent. Otherwise new and unused.
