You're out early, loading up before the day gets going and the rest of the crew shows up. You clip the strap, walk around, and it's still hooked. Snap hooks stay put so you can ratchet down tight and get moving.
Regular hooks can slip off before you get to the other side. Snap hooks clip onto the anchor point and stay hooked until you unclip them. No running back and forth or needing an extra set of hands.
The working load limit is what counts, not the break strength. Each strap's rated for 3,333 lbs. If your cargo's heavier, use more straps and tighten them down. Better to be safe than chasing your load down the road.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with Etrailer. Today we're looking at our very own Etrailer ratchet straps. Now, these are gonna have snap hooks on the ends of them. They're gonna be two inches wide by 20 feet long and have a quantity of four. So folks, again, quantity four, they do have a very nice snap hook on the end.
And that basically is a spring-loaded, (spring clicks) very easy to manipulate. It's not gonna come undone until you push the spring-loaded lever to get it back off. So again, just like that, in seconds, you're hooked to the side of your trailer, or your tie down points, and you're ready to go. So impressive strength, 300 and, or some, sorry, 3,333 working load limit with a 10,000 pound break strength. Now these are intended mainly for flatbed farm equipment use.
They're heavy duty. You're not gonna have to worry about things coming undone. Again, that snap hook's gonna snap right in and stay in place. And these are polyester, so they're not gonna freeze, stretch, or fail after just a couple times of use. They're gonna last you for many, many years to come.
And we all pretty much know ratchet straps. You pull the spring-loaded lever, that's gonna make it loose, so then you can just pull this and loosen it. And then when it's time to ratchet, you just simply ratchet, and you're ready to go. So again, very easy to manipulate and use, whether you're tightening or loosening. And again, you're gonna get quantity 1, 2, 3, and 4.
So this is a great option for you. The very large handle is gonna make it great for putting things on and off, you're not gonna have to worry about hurting your hands, very ergonomic, heavy duty plastic. It's not gonna crack or break on you. Very simple to use. I like these a lot. I've got a setup for myself, for my pickup truck and my personal trailer, and I've just really never had a problem with them, honestly. So I don't use 'em quite as much as a lot of people probably use 'em, I only tow once or twice a month, but when I need 'em, they're there. And they've always worked great for me. These are great straps. The hooks lay flat with the strap so the hook easily along a rail. They also store better than other straps.

well the first 2 were the big ones are now in my sons trash container truck and get used every day that is why i bought 2 0f the 10' ones for in my pickup. I have no camera.

The straps work great. We secure cars/trucks for car dealership. Large ratchet handle secures the load.
Ease of use, but be careful not to bend the spring hook safety.

I like the snap on the ends. I don't have to worry about the hook coming undone when strapping down.
Have not used them yet but they look very well made and came very well packaged. The color will make it easier to see a loose strap-until they get dirty! :)
Ratchet straps with snap hooks are the only way to go when using axle straps or D ring decks.
