We recently did an install on a non-hybrid Kia Sorento and found no trimming was needed. I looked into the Hybrid version and confirmed that the bumper isn’t longer, so there won't be any trimming required to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C37RV on your 2025 Kia Sorento Hybrid EX. I’ve attached an install video you can check out, looks like the exhaust will need to be lowered during the install.

If you’re planning to do some light towing or use a hitch-mounted accessory, you’ll want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C63RV. For a clean, no-drill look, don’t forget the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket - Short # 18140 and the # C42CR bracket.
