Availability of Offset 8" Rims for 215/60-8 Tires

Question:
I would like to replace my existing 4.8-8 trailer tires with ones that have a higher speed rating than 65mph. I like your Part Number: AM3H323 but dont have the clearance between the hub and leaf springs. Do you have offset rims I could use to provide the clearance?

Hello again Doug; we do not carry any offset wheels you could substitute for the # AM3H323. Most trailer wheels have 0 offset, especially in the smaller wheel and tire sizes. You may be able to find some out there but I'm not sure if anyone makes any. You could also try adding in a spacer depending on how much clearance you need but that isn't something that we offer.

Hey Doug, were you able to find an offset wheel or spacer that gave you the clearance you needed for your trailer tires? Knowing what worked could help others trying to fit the same size setup.
