Does Lower Fascia Panel of 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Get Trimmed to Install EcoHitch

Question:

My Lyriq has a underbody protective plastic cover, if I install the this hitch will I need to cut this cover or does it remain intact? Im confused about how the receiver doesnt show when not in use, is there a close-out panel that covers the hitch receiver when not in use. If so can you send me a picture of it.

Hey John, yes you will need to trim the lower fascia cover of your 2024 Cadillac Lyriq to install the EcoHitch part # EH75KR that you referenced to allow the hitch opening to pass through it.
