Hello Alan,

Yes, you will be able to use the Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System with Shank - Trunnion Bar - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # C17333 with different rated spring bars both long and short.

Here are the different spring bars we have on the site:

- Replacement Trunnion Bar for Curt Long Trunnion Style Weight Distribution System - 1,000 lbs TW # C17303

- Replacement Trunnion Bar Kit for Curt Weight Distribution System - 1,000 - 1,500 lbs TW # C17337

- Replacement Trunnion Bar Kit for Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System - 800 lbs TW # C17335

- Replacement Trunnion Bar for Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System - 1,000 lbs TW # C17336

I attached a picture of the spring bay, you will want to make sure that the left end that goes onto the head unit has that kind of configuration, I know there are some older style ones out there that have a different connector.

Why so many trailers, for fun, or for work?
