Today we're going to be taking a look at the Replacement Trunnion Bar Kit for the Curt Weight Distribution Systems. This replaces the Trunnion Spring Bar for the Curt Weight Distributions Systems, part number C17335, or C17422. The unit's fully preassembled. It's ready to go, ready to be installed. It's got the chains already connected. Now multiple chain links allow for flexible adjustment of the tension.
The unit's constructed of a durable forged construction with a carbide powder coated finish. It's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion, and lasting a long time. This is going to include the spring bar, it's going to come with the chain faster, and it's going to come with the U-bolt, so that way the chain is already connected to the bar. This piece right here, the knuckle's already included, simply just fits right into the head assembly of your weight distribution system. Now with this bar, it's going to have a sticker down here that indicates the maximum tongue weight and maximum gross towing weight. This bar is designed for systems that have a maximum tongue weight of 1,000 to 1,500 pounds and the maximum gross towing weight of 10,000 to 15,000 pounds.
The spring bar length is going to give us a measurement of 28-3/8 of an inch. That's going to do it for today's look at the Replacement Trunnion Bar Kit for the Curt Weight Distribution Systems.
