Question:

One of the edges of the top pocket that controls where the trunion head sits in the hitch sheared off. In fact the passenger side trunion got wedged between the trunion head pocket and the hitch nut. I had to remove the bolt/nut so I could remove the actual passenger side torsion bar and drive home. Can I buy just a replacement head and trunion arm?

For a system like the Curt # C17422 you asked the question from, the Curt Replacement Weight Distribution Head for Trunnion Style Bars # C17307 is what is needed. If you want the trunnion bar as well, then you will want # C17337 if you have a 28-3/8" short bar or # C17303 if you have a 30-5/8" long bar system.
