Question:
On your website, in an expert reply by: Jameson C the reply was: ===================================================== For towing your 1998 Jeep Cherokee behind your motor home you would want Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # 1418-1. The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 65009, is the correct front mount hitch for your Jeep, but it would not be the correct attachment point for towing your Jeep with your motor home. You would want to use a base plate kit like I recommended above. ===================================================== My question: I acquired a 2001 Jeep Cherokee with the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # 1418-3 already installed. I also acquired a RoadMaster Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar setup, and now want to install a Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver. Would the Draw-Tite Front Hitch # 65009 work with this base plate as well as the 1418-1? Same question for the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31084. Would there be problems with vertical base plate-to-frame, bolt-to-hole alignment, with the Roadmaster base plate and Draw-Tite/Curt hitch mounting plate both mounted stacked onto the same frame locations? Would supplied bolts be long enough for the stacked mounting arrangement? An aside question: Do you offer any LED Magnetic Towing Light Kits?

With base plates installed on your 2001 Jeep Cherokee, # 1418-3 or # 1418-1, you will not be able to also install front mount trailer hitch # 65009. The issue is that both the base plates and the hitch install in the same place and occupy much of the same space so both cannot be installed at the same time. The same goes for Curt hitch # 31084.
Neither the base plates nor front hitches are designed for or rated for being stacked or sandwiched. They are all meant to be in direct contact with the vehicle frame.
If you want to have a front hitch installed then what you can do is remove the base plates and install the front mount hitch then to tow the Jeep you would have to put it on a car trailer or a tow dolly. Check the owners manual to see if the Jeep can be towed using a tow dolly.
We do have LED magnetic tow light kits. But they are all wireless. We have the following options:
# C6304
# LIW-LDTL
