Barbed Fitting for RetraxPRO and RetraxONE MX Drain Hose on 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500

Updated 10/22/2025 | Published 04/03/2025

Question:

Ive got a 2025 Silverado 2500HD LTZ that I want either this RTX22FR cover or the RTX66VR cover in the video for this RTX22FR, Jake from eTrailer mentions a barbed fittinginch for the end of the drain hoses available on your websiteinch that will fit into the bed drain holes of his 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 when you dont want to drill the drain hole larger for the hose is that fitting the same for either covers drain hose? And if so, what is the part number for that fitting? Heres the text from Jakes video transcript for reference: The last thing were gonna need to do is put our drain tubes in and what we found with these, the GMCs, is that they have these pre-drilled holes up here in the front and if you dont wanna have to drill out the hole in order to fit the drain tube down in it, you can pick up these barbed fittings on our website. There we go. And then this, the smaller portion is whats gonna go down inside of this. And once we have the tube connected, there should be more than enough pressure on that in order to keep it down inside that hole.

Hey Ron! The fitting is the # RF885 (this one is black instead of the white from the video) and it will work for both the RetraxPRO MX # RTX22FR and RetraxONE MX # RTX66VR. If I were to choose one it would be the RetraxPRO MX for the aluminum construction. However, I do understand that comes with an additional cost. If you need anything else don't hesitate to reach out in the comments below.

Hey Ron, how did the barbed fitting work out with your Silverado’s drain hoses? Your experience could point others in the right direction when choosing between the RetraxPRO MX and RetraxONE MX covers.
