So i am replacing my old generac 66ng with remote start. is this generator capable of being wired for remote start? Will i need an exhaust pipe or is it all internal on the 7000i?

Hey Larry! Yes, the Onan Generator - QG 7000i Onboard RV Generator # CM44MR is capable of using a remote start. For a standard setup, you can use a switch like # CM86RR along with an extension harness # CM26RR.
You can also use the EC-AGS+ Auto Generator Start System # CM96MR. This system connects via Bluetooth and monitors battery voltage and interior temperature to automatically start the generator when needed. It also allows you to start and stop the generator from your phone through the app.
As for the exhaust, the QG 7000i includes an integrated muffler, but the exhaust still needs to be routed outside. Depending on how your existing Generac is set up, you may be able to adapt it to work with the new generator. If not, you will need to obtain the appropriate exhaust/tailpipe kit directly from Cummins Onan.
