Question:

Roadmasters P/N 1444-3 has two removable arms. C-001476, C-001477. Can these be used inchangebly by flipping them over? Are the physical dimensions all the same?

Hello Jeffrey,

The arms on the # 1444-3 are designed to be side-specific and are not interchangeable. Each arm is engineered to fit its designated side, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment. Flipping or swapping them could result in improper fitment or compromised safety. Therefore, I cannot recommend that you flip them over even if they do physically fit.

Why are you looing to flip them?

I took them off and can not tell the difference. They appear to be identical. If there is a feature that distinguishes them apart, please enlighten me.

@JeffJ I know that they specifically have 2 different part numbers. Let me reach out to my contact at Roadmaster to get some better information on why you cannot. I will let you know as soon as he gets back to me. I should have a response today.

@JeffJ Hello again Jeff, I just got word back from Roadmaster, they confirmed that they are side specific and need to be in the right direction. I cannot attach an image to a comment so I will email you the picture, I pointed out the plate that makes all the difference. The plate is to be on the inside above the hole, it is where the pin goes though after you attach the arms. Now we both know the difference =)

@JeffJ I just got a response from Roadmaster that yours are a unique design and are not side specific. Iam sorry for the confusion.
