Rod Recommendation for a UWS Tool Box

Question:

So is this the part that holds the metal rod that goes from one hinge to the other so when you pull on the handle they both open so I can access from either side/handle? If so, where can I get the actual rod as well...I bought a used one and need parts, is this a universal fit? Thanks!

I should be able to help you. However, stopped carrying UWS products so we no longer stock the rod you are looking for. We just happen to have some stock of the # UWSRODCONNECTOR left over so it's still on our site.

Based on the dimensions of the # UWSRODCONNECTOR if you could find a rod that is 1/4 of an inch it would work for you. You will just need to cut the rod down to the length you need.
