Question:
I have a continuous 10gauge wire between the wheels with electric brakes. I want to tap into that wire and run a single 10 gauge wire to my 7 blade trailer side connector. Ground wires are grounded to frame at the wheels. Question: what’s the best type of connection /splice to tap into the cross wire connecting both wheels? I could cut and use a big wire nut to Ty all three together- probably a better way? Thanks,

Hey Larry, the best connection you can make is to solder the connections instead of trying to use a butt end or twist connector. Nothing is more secure that soldered wire connections and since it's trailer brakes where safety is a factor I would strongly recommend soldering.
We have a cordless soldering iron with part # PTW2000 as well.
