What Wheel Width Does Trailer Tire Size 215/75R17.5 Fit

Question:
is rim width important for the 17.5 tires? looks like 6.75 is a standardinch width. Will 5.25 width rims work? Thanks

Hey Randy, in the trailer tire size of 215/75R17.5 like the part # TTWP15175 that you referenced there is only one wheel width that we can recommend and that is 6-3/4 inches. Unlike other sizes there isn't a width range that is acceptable with this tire. Probably because of it's very high weight capacity.
