What Gauge Wire Is Used on etrailer Electric Trailer Jack

Question:
I received my new Etrailer 3500 electric trailer jack yesterday.I will be adding a fuse holder. What amp fuse should I use. What gauge wire is the power wire on the jack.

Hey Geoff! How do you like it so far? The wire on the # e23ZV is 12 gauge. You can add a fuse if you want but it isn't necessary since the jack has a 20A automatic reset fuse built in already. If you want to add one I would make it the same 20A.

So you don't need to add in a fuse is that right?
