Lug Nut Recommendation for Trailer 1/2-20 60 Degree Cone Nut

Looking for lug nuts for after market tires and wheels I purchased. The current tires are Trailer King ST205/75R/14, and are mounted on a Dexter axle 96423828, S/N 133276365013. The new wheels are Goodyear Trailer Tire Endurance ST205/75R14, mounted on 205/75R14 LRD Black Avalanche Aluminum Rim 5L. Nut requirement: 1/2-20 60 Degree Cone Nut.

Hey Larry, I would recommend going with a stainless steel lug nut like the part # LHLR103 that matches the specs you need. Stainless steel won't rust or corrode. This means they won't swell up either making it hard to fit a socket on.

A Dexter 3,500 lb axle will have a hub that uses 1/2" lug nuts, so the correct part is the CE Smith Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - Zinc-Plated Steel - 1/2" #CE11051.

The closest option we have and what will work for your application is the Kodiak Wheel Bolt - 1/2" Diameter x 1-11/16" Long #K12WB169. This has a slightly longer knurl, the correct threading and are just slightly shorter at 1.6875 inches.

On Dexter 9/16-inch lug nut #STN569 the thread pitch is 18-TPI. I went to our warehouse and did a test fit of this lug nut on Dexter hub/drum #8-219-13UC3, which meets your description of an 8-on-6-1/2 Dexter hub with 9/16-inch studs for 7K axles.

I took a look at the wheel lug stud LCI SKU 121803 you mentioned, and I was able to find the Kodiak Wheel Bolt #K12WB2. This bolt is 2" long, and has a thread size of 1/2"-20 UNF-2A.
