Question:

Do you sell a caulk type for enclosed trailers?I wanted to put a fresh bead around the fenders and other areas and want to use the correct type.I assume the cauk is different from the type you use for homes and other materials

Hey Jimmy! We use two main types of sealant on trailers. For flat surfaces you want self-leveling like the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant # 34427034145-1. For vertical surfaces you can use non-sag like the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Non-Sag Sealant for RVs # 344270341437-1. If you need anything else feel free to reach out in the comments below.

Thanks Robin.I got one of those small camper accese doors from you guys to allow air flow into the trailer one time and I used a regular caulk silicone and it made a mess and left silicon around the area I couldn't get it all off so I wanted to make sure I used the correct type this time.Do these you guys leave any type of residue, ect or are they specific for this application. Thanks

@JimmyD this is pretty much designed as a permanent solution. Caulk will dry and shrink, this does not. If you try to remove it there may be some residue. It is a lot of work to remove it once you use it.
