great stuff

by:

Kim was very friendly and helpful in placing my order. When I needed additional tubes of non-sag sealant, she coached me on approximate date of new shipment since there was no more in stock. Definitely think that she knows her job.

by:

I used it to seal a roof fan in a Sprinter Van. It seems to work OK. It's gooey as all hell, and doesn't clean up with water or Acetone. No directions on the package for cleanup. But it does seem to create a nice seal

by:

Stays where you put it, no visible sag. Get the substrate clean (rubbing alcohol) before applying. Worth the high price, but that is the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

Still staying put.

by:

Product demonstrated good adhesion to the van roof as well as the plastic fan housing. Tile will tell.etrailer.com service staff , in particular Carol and George, picked up the ball that USPS fumbled and immediately resent my order . Unparalleled service !

by:

Exactly what I needed and fast delivery! I will definitely use etrailer again.

by:

Packing was bad. The tube ends were bent over really bad. Was able to straighten them all up. Should have put some kind of packing around the ends of the caulk.

by:

I needed a roof sealant compatible with my rigs PVC roof material. It was easy to find that compatibility information on the etrailer site. Called to talk with Customer Service to confirm and Ian took great care of me on this and other product related questions. Called in the morning, placed the order and it shipped that afternoon. Here in just a couple days. Setting the bar high for customer service and fast shipping in my humble opinion.

by:

I did a lot of research and settled on installing a PVC membrane. etrailer made the research and decision process simple and efficient. I really like the videos they have on the product page, it helped with making the decision. I just received the product and waiting for the rain to break and I will install it.

by:

This stuff works very well. This is my second tube of this caulk. Great to seal leaky seams in an old roof, after removing the old caulk.

Customer service at etrailer is excellent.

My experience is that etrailer always has the hard-to-find items that I really need to keep the old RV in good shape.

by:

The product(s) came quickly, I am just finishing up some repair items and then the new roof membrane will be installed. Ordering, customer service, shipping, follow up were all excellent.. so far so good doing business with eTrailer and Bailey has been very helpful.

by:

great product. applies easily and smooth. no leaks since applied a year ago. etrailer is the best place for all your needs.

by:

Great product, but the way you ship unreal. That's why I try avoiding buying from you. You start with UPS which get the item here to my local postal distribution center in 2 days then I have to wait another 3 days to get the item delivered by USPS... Just ship with UPS all the way and get us the item we want quickly.. no waiting....Shame on You etrailer...

by:

Received my order today as promised.Well packed and everything looked good. Will write another review when I get back to Canada and can install the various parts.Great service from this supplier.

by:

Arrived, had a small issue with one product, etrailer resolved it ASAP! It’s all good thanks!

by:

I was happy with the prompt service and the quality of the products.

by:

Very easy to use and does a great job.

  • Recommended Tankless Replacement For An Atwood GC6AA-10E RV Water Heater
Hi Wes, All newer water heater models are transitioning to smaller sizes as the technology gets better so you'll likely have a gap regardless of which unit you choose to go with. There's typically framing around the water heater so you'll just need to add in some 2" x 2" boards to fill in the gap and give the mounting flange of the new unit something to grab onto when mounting. I've attached a video below where Jake had to do this in order to install the # FR93FR. These units come with...

  • Recommended Replacement For A Suburban SW6 DE RV Water Heater
Hi Michael, To replace your Suburban SW6 DE water heater you'll want the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR98SR. This tankless water heater is one of the most efficient units on the market, producing up 144 gallons of hot water per hour. The dimensions I'm seeing for your Suburban show it being roughly 12-3/4" tall by 12-3/4" wide so the # FR98SR with its 16" x 16" door would be a great fit. During the installation you're going to want to use some butyl tape # AL28FJ on the back...

The High Pointe Over the Range RV Convection Microwave # HP94ZR can be vented outside but you'd need to pick up a bit of ducting and duct tape from your local hardware store to connect the vents on the top of the unit to an exterior vent. If you don't already have an exterior vent then we currently offer one in white # V2111-13 and black # V2111-55. You'll want to pick up some butyl tape # AL28FJ and some non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1 for a waterproof connection to the trailer wall.

Hey Jimmy! We use two main types of sealant on trailers. For flat surfaces you want self-leveling like the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant # 34427034145-1. For vertical surfaces you can use non-sag like the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Non-Sag Sealant for RVs # 344270341437-1. If you need anything else feel free to reach out in the comments below.

Hey Ken, In order to go larger you'll need the extrusion rail (top rail the fabric slips into at the wall) to cover the length of the awning, mounting hardware, butyl tape # AL28FJ, non-sag sealant # 344270341437-1, and some extra wiring to run from the new awning to either the existing switch or to install the new switch included with the # LC75FR. The lid of the MaxxAir Dome Vent part # MA00-3810B is not transparent. It would stick down from the ceiling it is installed on 3.08 inches when you have the vent closed and 2.14 inches when the vent is open. We can't recommend a way to shorten it's height that it would hang down. For a sealant you'd want a non-sag type like the part # 344270341437-1 which will hold it's shape and seal well and hold up to weather.

  • Will The Furrion Tankless Water Heater Be A Good Replacement For An Atwood GC6AA-10E
The Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR48SR would be the correct choice to replace your Atwood GC6AA-10E in terms of size. The unit has a depth of 19-1/4" so you'd have about 3/4" for your water and gas hookups, so you might need to change out your fittings to ones with a 90 degree bend in order to get them in place. These units require both propane and 12v DC power in order to operate. The propane fuels the heat and the 12v powers the electronics that control the heat output. You power...

  • What Kind of Sealant do I Want to Use to Patch My Cargo Trailer Roof to Keep it Air Tight?
Hello James, I am very sorry to hear that your trailer was damaged by the hurricane, I hope there is not too much other damage that needs repairing. Glad you are OK and able to write in. For sealing the new metal panel to your cargo trailer’s roof, I’d recommend using butyl tape # AL28FJ between the new and old metal surfaces before riveting. This will create a strong, flexible seal that helps prevent water intrusion. Once the panel is secured, you’ll want to go over the edges and rivet...

  • Can The Stromberg Carlson Folding Handrail # AC-544 Be Mounted To A Trailer With Aluminum Siding
Hey John, You're likely going to run into an issue with the aluminum siding regardless of what railing you choose. The bases would need to fit inside the grooves of the side and match the spacing in order for you to not have to trim or alter the siding. I've seen people either trim out the siding just enough to fit the bases of the railing or place some sort of weatherproof block to push out from the siding for the bases to mount to. Hey Guy, The correct replacement control panel for your Atwood GC6AA-10E is part number 91365. We unfortunately no longer carry this part since it's been discontinued but you can check to see if anyone else might still have one. If not then you'll have to replace the entire water heater. To replace this unit you'll want the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - 16" x 18" Door # FR48SR. This unit is tankless so you won't have wait for the tank to heat up or deal with the tank lining corroding...

Hey Ron, Since the Atwood line has been discontinued for some time now we no longer offer the correct control board for your GCH10A-3E model. At this point all we can recommend is replacement of the entire system. If you want to go that route then I recommend going with a Furrion tankless water heater. These are a bit smaller so you'll need to frame in the cutout hole in order for the new unit to have something to mount to. Some 2x2's or 2x3's would likely be more than enough to fill in...

The access door will be a bit larger so you'll want to take a quick measurement to see which new size you'll need to fully cover any gaps and make the overall finish nice looking. • How To Apply The Alpha Systems 4034 Roof Coating To An RV Roof
The rule of thumb here in most cases is, the smoother the surface and glossier the paint, the shorter the nap. With the roof of the trailer being fairly smooth a 3/4" or less nap would be the better option. The manufacturer recommends a 5/16" or less nap or to use a paint brush. There's a lot of debate about sliding the roller or actually letting it roll. In my opinion sliding the roller will lead to uneven coating since you're more so just pushing the sealant around. • Recommended Furrion Tankless Water Heater Replacement For An Atwood GC6AA-10E
The dimensions I can find online for a GC6AA-10E show it needing a 16" x 16" door, but there are plenty of outliers out there that can require different sized doors so it's best to measure what you current have and then find the corresponding fit. The # FR48SR comes with a 16-1/8" tall x 18-1/8" wide access door, so if your measurements are 18" wide by 14.5" tall then you'd be fine with this door.
