Note: All RockerBall hitch balls will sit 1-1/2" higher than a standard hitch ball due to the shock absorbing base.
The mounting platform on your ball mount must be at least 3/8" thick and the hole size must not be more than 1/16" larger in diameter than the ball's threaded shank.

I ordered this due to a video "Playing with Sticks" by Drew. The ordering, shipping, and delivery was prompt. I have not used the product yet so I have no feedback on that. Once I have used it I will addendum the product.
So far it’s perfect for my needs. It is light weight and sticks out just past my spare tire on Bronco.
I really like this. The additional height is just right to provide excellent weight distribution and prevents the jarring impact of the road, stopping and starting. I add grease regularly to maintain function.
Great addition to any hitch, cushions the bumps, especially in glorious stop and go traffic on memorial day!
I didn't know what i was missing with this rocker ball from Curt. It has proven to provide a smoother towing experience!
I would most definitely,not recommend this product at all. Not blaming the seller, as they took it back, and I just got a solid ball from them instead. Pulling a 26’ cargo trailer, (nothing extremely heavy), the rocking ball would violently, “slam back” while taking off from a stoplight, and would violently “slam forward” when stopping for one. Literally thought the ball was going to snap off, it slammed so hard.
I thank it is everything that it should be. Works great

It does seem to make a smoother ride. I tow a 20 foot cargo trailer which gets quite heavy at times.

I purchased this to test out. I’m using it on a Ford Ranger and towing a 6x16 enclosed trailer. Curt makes great products I’m sure it won’t disappoint.
Greatest difference is felt with a full trailer vs empty. For reference, I haul a 3700 horse trailer and with one or two horses on board, this makes a noticeable difference in the reduction of ‘jolts’ when road seams, potholes are encountered. No noticeable difference when empty, but I am rarely empty. Good value for outcome.
It looks like a quality product, but after buying 3 different drop hitches for my truck it doesn't look like I will ever find one that it will fit on............. so I just bought a stainless ball and went on. Makes for a nice $[XX] paperweight or conversation piece.

This hitch ball works great no slamming back & forth when stopping are starting. Just the right height for my F150 with a 4 inch curt drop receiver. I would definitely purchased again. Ran it with an unloaded trailer & a trailer with weight around 2500 lb. You want be disappointed in the purchase.
