Question:
2018 Ford F150 4x4, 2inch receiver BX88224 or e38FV or ?? Hi, Which of the above would work better for a receiver hitch carrier hauling a 200 lb etrike? The anti-rattle that came with the carrier is like your e99007. It got rid of the rattle but the carrier can still sway around, horizontally and vertically, quite a bit. I want to tighten it all up so it is almost solid. I appreciate any advice. Thanks, Steve

Hey Steve! What kind of e-trike do you have? I would get the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar for 2" Hitch Receivers # e38FV over other options. The Blue Ox # BX88224 is pretty similar to what you have now but with an extra U-bolt. It also has a tendency to loosen up over time like others with the same design.
Even if the etrailer Anti-Rattle loosened up (I don't expect it to) all you have to do is turn the knob to keep it nice and tight instead of messing with nuts and bolts. Also, since it stays on the hitch you don't have to worry about installing it every time you need it. I will say that it does look like the design of your carrier will allow for some movement no matter what where it bends at that joint. I don't expect a different anti-rattle to completely solve the issue but it will certainly help keep it to a minimum.

Thanks Robin for the reply. My trike is a Meet One Tour The carrier is a folding Mockins 72" x 36". They are both beasts :) I've got another anti-rattle coming that at least will be stronger than the one that came with my carrier. I'll give the e38FV a try if that disappoints. Making the carrier non-folding would also help by taking out that extra hinge. Steve
