Will your new anti rattle device stop slop in both directions like the BlueOx version?

Hey Greg, yes the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e38FV would stop movement vertically and horizontally. The bolt on the bottom pins it vertically but it also holds it with enough friction to prevent side to side movement. Plus the slot for the gusset of the ball mount accomplishes this too.

The gate that you hand tighten has a 45° angle which both pulls down and pulls to the side locking all movement. The fine threads provide additional clamp force.
