This may sound strange, but Im trying to find a roof rack for my 2024 Ford Bronco Sport-Big Bend Edition that has a minimum of wind noise at highway speed. Ive tried a few and so far all of them have been noisy above 45 mph and thats jut not acceptable. Im wondering if you have any information on how much noise your racks make, or hopefully dont. THANKS.

Hey Chester! Have you tried the Yakima TimberLine Roof Rack with JetStream Crossbars # Y42GD yet? When it comes to noise reduction these are as good as it gets. There will always be some level of noise with the addition of a roof rack but these keep it to a minimum. If you want to add locks you will also need the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204.
The rack is pretty easy to install so if you still think it is too much you can always take it off when you don't need it. Another option is to add a fairing. The right one depends on the amount of space you have available between the legs. You can choose from the following:

-Yakima WindShield Fairing for Roof Racks - 46" Long # Y05018

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. I've already got some crossbars that are silent, even at road speed. What I'm looking for is either a platform or a basket that doesn't make a ton of noise. What cause the noise before was a basket mounted onto the crossbars.
