Is There Base Plate to Flat Tow 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Active Air Shutters

I need a base plate for a 2025 Grand Cherokee with active air shutters no tow hooks. It is not an L model. I already have a blue ox tow bar set up. Can you recommend a base plate part number. Also dealer said it was prewired for towing lights, can I use that with the tow bar or do I still need a wiring kit to go with that. He was probably thinking about a wiring harness for the back hitch on the jeep but is there any way to use that? Thanks

Hey Richard, we have one base plate kit that fits your 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has no tow hooks and active air shutters with the part # RM75GR but since you already have a Blue Ox tow bar what you would need is the adapter part # BX88185 since Blue Ox does not have a fit for your vehicle configuration.
So it would be awesome if trailer wiring was able to be used in reverse as tow bar wiring but that's not how it works unfortunately. Instead you'd have to use a diode kit like the part # RM-15267.

Hey Richard, how did things go with the Roadmaster base plate and the Blue Ox adapter for your Grand Cherokee? Did the diode wiring kit work well with your setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person working on the same combination.
