This setup keeps the front of your vehicle looking stock when you’re not towing. The direct-connect brackets mount back within the grille, so when the drawbars are removed, there’s nothing bulky left sticking out. The streamlined design eliminates the need for an obtrusive quick-disconnect crossbar, giving the front end a clean look while keeping the brackets protected from scrapes and scuffs.
The drawbars slide into place and twist to lock securely in the brackets—no tools or extra steps needed. Each arm has a built-in pull ring that releases the lock so you can twist and remove it in seconds. It’s a straightforward design that makes connecting or disconnecting simple whether you’re at home or on the road.
This kit bolts directly to your vehicle’s frame and spreads towing forces evenly for a strong, stable connection. The computer-cut, all-steel construction gives it exceptional strength, while the black powder coat finish adds durability and corrosion resistance through years of travel. There’s no welding required, and all the mounting hardware is included.
The base plate is built specifically for motor-home-mounted Roadmaster tow bars that slide directly into a trailer hitch—such as the Nighthawk, Sterling, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2. This direct-connect setup removes extra parts from your towing system and keeps everything aligned for a solid fit every time.

I’ve pulled the Chevy behind our motor home several times over a the last year. It has worked excellent. And when not in tow the tubing is barely noticeable.

Which trim is your 2026 Chevy Trax? Per Roadmaster, the # RM25EQ (523228-5) fits all trims of the 2026 Trax except the ACTIV trim....
