Question:
Have a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500. Was looking at the Tekonsha P2 brake controller. What all do I need for my truck to make it work? It has factory tow system installed

Hey Devin, the Prodigy P2 brake controller part # 90885 is a great controller and it comes with everything needed to install in your 2009 GMC Sierra 1500. Basically your truck has brake controller wires already present under the dash that you would need to run this controllers wiring straight to. Once you do that and make a couple connections under the hood of your truck the controller will be active and ready to use. I attached a help article on this for you to check out as well.

Hey Devin, how did things go getting the Tekonsha P2 brake controller connected on your Sierra? Did the wiring under the dash and the under-hood connections go smoothly? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same controller.
