Question:

Are there replace rubber dust caps for the Anderson Rapid hitch lock pins? If so part numbers please.

Hey Roger,

Andersen doesn't have a replacement dust cover listed for the Rapid Hitch Trailer Hitch Lock # AM3492, but I tested out the replacements that we do offer and found that the Replacement Dust Cover for etrailer Hitch Locks # e98923 will fit. It's a bit thicker than the original cover so the ring that holds the cap on will have more space separating it from the cover portion but will still work to help keep water out of the lock.

Thanks for the reply, have the part on order waiting for the rest of the order to ship before I’ll get a look on it. I wish they would put a picture below the new parts showing that item like this are available for replacement. I’ve been looking for a couple of years now and here etrailer has on the shelves. Thanks again.
