Colin: Hey guys, Colin here with etrailer. Today I'm just going to take some time and show you guys, this is a replacement part for your etrailer lock. This is just a dust cap cover.It's pretty important to make sure you have one of these on there to help keep out all that crud and debris out of your lock cylinder. And so if you happen to misplace your dust cap cover or maybe it just breaks off of your lock, you can be able to just pick one of these up and throw it on there. It will work for any of the hitch locks that you might have, or any of the coupler latch locks, or maybe even your spare tire lock if you happen to lose that.It's a direct replacement, so it's just going to go right over your lock right there. And again, you can see that without a dust cap cover on there, it leaves it wide open to any of that road salt or any other grime and debris getting in there.
So putting that cap on is just going to help make sure that doesn't happen. Again, this is just a really good idea to go ahead and get this replaced so you can extend the life of your lock and not have to worry about getting a new one..

It is a quality product, but it turned out to be too big for my Kuat receiver hitch rack locking pin. The shipping was very expensive given the cost of the item, so it is not worth it to send it back.
Fit my Anderson locks.
The dust caps work great. I use them on an Anderson Rapid Hitch. They fit a little bit loose but have stayed on.
Customer service and order status communication is excellent. Would definitely order from etrailer again.

Perfect fit
Perfect replacement for Deadbolt brand RH3-SS hitch lock and RC6-SS coupler lock.
Doesn’t fit my Masterlock1459DAT lock.
I tow my trailers on a lot of wet, snowy, muddy logging roads and these covers keep the locking hitch pin tumblers clean, the keys always work well.
I had the lock wrapped in cellphone bags. It kept it dry but looked awful and would not have lasted long. I am much happier now using the right part. Thanks for a very quick delivery etrailer.

Just what I needed and got it fast
This dust cover did not fit tightly on the Blue Ox barrel lock. Seemed just a bit to big, so I put a few rounds of electrical tape around the barrel lock. That helped snug up the fit. Who would have thought there are different sizes.
The item can not fit
I recently installed a hitch mounted cargo carrier on my 5th wheel. I decided that it should be locked to deter any thievery, but my old MasterLock was missing the dust/debris cover. etrailer comes through again!
These are a perfect fit for replacing the dust caps on the Torklift Fastgun tiedown locks, thank you!
