I have used the hitch lock pin many times and with a couple different hitches to include the one for my 9,000lb travel trailer and have had no issues. I’ve only used the adjustment pin lock for some lighter trailers and it has worked as it should. No issues to report so far.
Just took delivery of the Anderson 4" drop adjustable. Seems very nice and decent quality. Service by e-trailer was prompt once again. Will need to put the hitch to use before giving a complete review but impressed out of the box for now.
Same with the locking pins.

Still content with the product. It appears to be well engineered and has served me well without issues through a year of use. Would get another if it becomes necessary for a second vehicle.
I am very happy with the way my order was handled and the complete updates as to the status of the order by email. These pin locks are an improvement over the older pin locks. I've had this hitch for a good while and the older device that locked the pin from coming out was not fool proof. The lock on one pin did not lock when I pushed the little part in therefore it fell off somewhere. It was a miracle that the pin did not come completely out of the hitch while pulling a trailer. It did come partially out when I discovered it. That could have been a very serious situation on the interstate. The lock on this new one has to have a key to take it off the pin and also has to lock on the pin before the key can be removed. A GREAT IMPROVEMENT!!!

The hitch lock has performed as it should...a fool proof lock. All it needs is a quality lubricant spray from time to time.
I didn't order these pins for exactly what they were intended but they turned out to be exactly what I needed. I have a new truck with a factory installed class IV receiver. Besides the approx. 3" tube O.D.,the receiver also has reinforcement gussets on either side (.25" thick each) making the pin length required longer than a standard unit. I needed more than 3.5" of barrel with another half inch or so for the locking head to fit. Either one of these pins will do the trick. I will use the shorter one mainly and the longer one as backup. Great service, fast shipment & delivery, totally satisfied. Will recommend eTrailer and this product without hesitation.

These pins are great. Working well in my 2.5 in. receiver. They are very good quality, well built, and the finish is holding up very well. No problems or complaints.

If you purchase the AM3410, but the AM3492 lock set.
I like how they both use the same key and they are locked if the key can be pulled out!

Great product, needs to have options for the 2" receivers or the 3". I will make a spacer to prevent the lock from shifting side to side.

MUST HAVE for rapid hitches. They look good and they work great. I just wish that they were included with the rapid hitch. Do yourself a favor and get them with your hitch so you don't have to pay shipping for them. Other than that I have no complaints so far. I also like how the keys don't come out until it's locked. Keeps me from losing the keys.
Once again etrailer techs know what they are talking about. Rick followed all they thru from taking the order to delivery. Awesome help.

Just what I need to go along with my new Andersen Rapid Hitch. I usually leave the hitch on my vehicle overnight when I am travelling and have parked the trailer and driven to the hotel. Now I won't have to worry about coming outside in the morning and discovering that my nice new hitch is missing. The locking adjustment pin fits perfectly. The locking hitch pin lock is wider than I need for my standard 2-inch receiver so I use a small section of ¾-inch O.D. clear PVC tubing as a spacer. A 1-foot section was $0.49 at my local hardware store. So far, it's stopped the hitch pin from sliding around and I still have enough tubing left for 11 replacements if it does wear down.

The only issue Ive had is that the hooks on some of the larger trailer safety chains I use have scratched the housing.

These were great, had a previous set that I gave my brother-in-law when I bought a different system, then gave that hitch and locks, etc. to our son, then needed another hitch for my truck and immediately thought to re-buy these.
I bought these along with the Andersen 2.5 inch receiver, 10 inch drop hitch -
etrailer AN86VR- and they fit perfectly. They are 2 different lengths, the slightly longer pin is used to lock the 2 pieces of the Andersen hitch and keep them together (the ball assembly and the drop), and the other slightly shorter pin is used for use on the truck's receiver to lock the hitch up to the truck's receiver.
The clever thing about these pins is that the key will literally "pop" out automatically when you press the locking pieces together. No spinning, or pulling to make the lock let go of the key. This is a very nice feature.
Leave the key in the lock, press the 2 pieces of each locking pin together and the key drops in your hand with the lock secured.

So after 1 year of using these pins I would still give it 5 stars for all reasons that can be explained. These are top quality in design and function.

I love these locking pins and use them with any trailer that I pull with my 2004 Ram 2500. They built very well and I’ve had no issues with the locks seizing up with corrosion like I’ve had with other locking pins in the past. I would highly recommend these products.
