5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2024 Chevy Silverado Towing 2025 Eagle SLE 24MLE

Question:

I have a 2024 Chevy Silverado HD 2500 with a 6 1/2 foot bed. I have on order. 2025 Eagle SLE Fifth Wheels 24MLE Not sure if I even need a sliding hitch or rotating pin box was wondering if you could advise me thank you

Hey David, I checked out pictures of a 2025 Eagle SLE 24MLE online and it looks like it has an extended pin box and a tapered nose so you would be able to get away with a fixed hitch and still have great turning clearance with it and your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500.

So the B and W Companion Hitch for GM Rail Kits part # BWRVK3710 that you were interested in would fit and work great. What hitches have you tried in the past?

@DavidL Gotcha, well the Companion is a really solid hitch that you'll be really happy with. It's super well made and smooth/quiet unlike some other options. I would still be a little careful when backing up the first time to find out exactly how much turning clearance you have. It should be more than enough but you want to be sure that first time.
