Does B&W Fixed 5th Wheel Hitch Fit 2022 Silverado 2500 Short Bed?

I have a 2002 f250 short bed with the bandw companion fifth wheel non slider and it worked just fine with my rv. Just upgraded to a 2022 chevrolet 2500 short bed. What base do i need and can i use the head of mine. Thanks

While it is recommended to use a sliding 5th wheel for a short bed truck so that you have plenty of clearance for sharp turns, it is not necessarily required as it depends on your truck and trailer configuration. If you are using the same trailer that you used on your previous short bed truck then you likely won't have an issue, but I would still take caution and figure out your turning limitations before hitting the road.
