Is The SportRack Horizon Rooftop Cargo Box SR7016 A Good Fit For 2014 Honda CR-V?

Question:
Double checking this would be a good match for my Honda crv 2014. Want to make sure it will fit in the 6foot 5inch garage. Also wanted to check if this item will be back in stock. I waited too long to purchaseand now it says out of stock, check back on the 27th. Thanks for the help.

Hello Megan, thanks for reaching out. The SportRack Horizon Rooftop Cargo Box # SR7016 will be a fit for your 2014 Honda CR-V, as long as your CR-V is equipped with a roof rack with crossbars. The box sits on top of the crossbars, so if you already have a roof rack just measure the height from the top of the crossbar to the ground. The cargo box is 14-11/16" tall overall so add this to the crossbar height and that will tell you if it will fit in your garage or not.
If you don't already have a roof rack, we can definitely set you up with one. I will need to know if your CR-V has a naked roof, or if it has the factory raised, or flush mounted rails running from front to back. Reply below and let me know. I can recommend a roof rack, and let you know approximately how much height that will add to the roof so we can see about everything fitting in your garage.
As far as availability, if one was ordered today (1/27/25) you should have it in hand within 2 weeks. This is subject to change though since they are not in stock at the moment.

Thanks for the help, I found what looks to be the exact same box on a different website w a height of 16 inches. Just wanted to double check to make sure the height on your site is correct and if not what is the return policy?
