I have a 2000 monaco dynasty and I believe the front ac unit is original but I cant find any information on it it has the 4 button thermostat which is a duo therm which also controls the furnace The ac is ducted was wondering whether or not you could help me find a replacement ac unit that would adapt to my thermostat

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. It sounds like you have duo-therm (Dometic) AC system since your thermostat says duo-therm. Our best option for replacing this is a Furrion AC unit either # FR42PV for 15K BTU or # FR82PV for 13.5K BTU. These units come with a conversion kit that makes it directly compatible with your duo therm AC system. Meaning you can swap out the rooftop unit only, and all of your ceiling registers and thermostat can stay in place and work the same.
A lot of people these days are upgrading to the Furrion Chill Cube AC units since they are 18K BTU rated. If you want to go with one of these, you can, but you will need to swap out the AC unit, controller, distribution box and thermostat. For that use part # FR49TD since it comes with all of the components I mentioned. Reach out and reply below and let me know what you think or if you have any questions.
