I have a 2015 Keystone Hideout 298bhs fith wheel rv. If I install the furrion chill cube 18k air conditioner along with the distribution box and thermostat, is it still compatible to work with my existing furnace?

Hello Derek,
Great question! Yes, you will be able to hook up your current furnace to the Furrion Chill Cube. I got to go down for the unveiling of the new AC unit when our video team was shooting the one shot. My favorite feature has to be the remote thermostat, it has a follow me feature. With that feature you can put it anywhere in the camper and it will keep cooling off til it reaches the desired temperature to that exact spot. I was also impressed with the durability of the shroud.
The one you were looking at # LC22BX is just the AC unit, you will need the whole kit # FR27TD. That part number will come with the air distribution box as well. I included an image of everything the # FR27TD comes with. I see that you were looking at the Ductless, if your system is Ducted please let me know.
When you get things all set up please let me know how you like it! I really do believe this AC unit is going to be superior to the other ones on the market, I am very excited to get some of these out the door and hear the feedback! I think it's going to blow your socks off (pun intended). I reached out to my contact at Furrion and was able to get a copy of the instructions, I attached them as well.
What is the current AC you are going to be replacing? You can respond by clicking the "RESPOND TO KATE F" below =)

Hey Derek, how did the Furrion Chill Cube work out with your Keystone Hideout’s furnace setup? I’m curious if the remote thermostat feature kept the temperature steady where you wanted it. Your update could make it easier for others upgrading their RV cooling systems.
