Updated 11/03/2025 | Published 01/19/2025 >
Question:
I have a 2019 tundra with a integrated brake controller that does work very well at all. Ha e tried and multiple trailers. Is a plug and play option to replace the controller with a aftermarket one?

Hey Dan, you can replace the OEM integrated brake controller of your 2019 Toyota Tundra with a Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED52VR which comes with the correct custom fit harness for your truck. You will have to cut up the current harness you have now on the integrated controller and wire it to the Redarc harness and there is a chance you may have to have a dealer flash the ECM but it looks like that is no longer required.
Does that sound doable?
