Question:
What is the weight rating on this boat trailer roller? Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers - Heavy-Duty Rubber - 12 Long - 5/8 Shaft Part Number: YR12000

Hey SC, so a keel roller like the Yates # YR12000 doesn't have a weight rating because it's not meant to bear the full weight of the boat. They're only meant to protect the keel of the boat from hitting into anything on the trailer.
What kind of boat are you hauling? I actually used to build boats in a past life, so I'd be interested in hearing what you got! Feel free to drop a comment if you'd like!

Good morning, I don't know much about boats but customer was in this morning. He is making the boat and here are some details he gave. Wood, lapstrake. A British pilot boat. Vertical stem, long keel, w/a center board section which is not weight bearing. Sail boat, gaff rigged center. Length is 19' plus a 4' bow sprit. The keel is somewhere between stem and center board. The weight of the forward section would be on this roller.
