Will the tow bar hook up to an accessory steel number on a Jeep Wrangler with the D rings removed?

Hey Rick, so the etrailer tow bar part # e34ZR is designed to connect to vehicles that have etrailer brand or Demco brand base plate kits. Since you have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler that would mean you'd want to have the base plate kit part # DM9519292 installed.

Do you have D-rings currently or did you have them removed?

My question is if the aftermarket bumper with the "D" rings removed will support the tow bar with attachements (3/4" adaptors) added. The bumper supports for the "D" rings are rated for 9000 pounds.

@RickH If the D-rings are removed we don't have a way to attach to the aftermarket bumper. We have D-ring adapters for tow bars though if you'd consider putting the D-rings back on? Since they are 3/4 inch d-rings we have the Roadmaster D-Ring adapter part # RM-035 which could be used with a Roadmaster tow bar like the part # RM-520.
