How Much Wall Clearance Does the 66-1/2" Thomas Payne Seismic Power Loveseat TP65KR Require?

Updated 04/28/2026 | Published 04/25/2026

Question:

I have a 2020 Jayco Greyhawk 30Z motorhome. I want to replace the trifold sofa bed with the Thomas Payne RV Theater Seating Recliner Set eTrailer part TP65KR. I see from your literature that it needs a minimum door width of 26inch but Lippert tells me it will fit through a 24inch door if angled correctly. Is this correct? Also, how much platform width in my slide out do I need including distance from wall? My slide out has a raised floor that the set will sit on and I suspect I may need to extend the floor by a few inches to fit set on solidly. Thank you

Hey Frank. I checked our specs and with Lippert and the Thomas Payne Seismic Power Loveseat w/ Console item # TP65KR requires a 26" wide entryway. This couch comes in three separate pieces but the seats still measure 27.5" wide x 38" deep x 42" tall.

The Thomas Payne Seismic Power Loveseat w/ Console item # TP65KR is 66-1/2" wide and requires 3" of wall clearance. It's 38" deep when the seats are not reclined and 64" when they are and you lie all the way back. You'll need at least 41" from the back of your slide out to the edge of the platform for the couch.

How big is the raised floor portion of your slide out?
